The Local Tourist Office inspectorate approves all apartments.
The apartments are all rented for a
period of 7 nights from 4pm on the day of arrival until
10am on the date of departure.
The accommodation provided is only for the use of clients
shown on the booking form and sub-letting, sharing or
assignment is prohibited.
They are furnished and have blankets,
pillows or bolsters, dishes and kitchen equipment.
Heating (during the winter season) hot and cold water
and electricity are included in the price.
(NB firewood is not included)
We do not provide linen in our basic
standard rental option - these maybe purchased through
our Alpine Holidays Premier Package.
We do not include for end of stay cleaning
and expect the apartment to be left clean and tidy at
the end of your stay.
Where a television is not included
in the apartment inventory, (you will be advised on
your accommodation Quotation)
an aerial socket is generally provided. Televisions
are available for hire locally.
On arrival keys will need to be collected
as advised on your booking form or from the local address
of our agent on provision of your Confirmation letter.
Keys will need to be returned to the same address prior
to your departure.
Booking Terms & Conditions
To reserve the apartment we require
25% of the apartment rental. This is per apartment where
more than one is reserved.
Payment in full must accompany the booking form where
the booking is made within 6 weeks of the departure
date.
On receipt of the initial payment we
will send you confirmation of your booking. In the event
that the quoted accommodation has been allocated we
will offer alternative comparable accommodation. If
no suitable alternative is available we will refund
your deposit in full.
42 days prior to your departure we
require the full cost of your holiday, including equipment
hire and lift passes where applicable.
Security Deposit
A separate deposit of £ 120.00
per apartment is required as security against for example,
damage to the property or its' contents. This will be
returned to you prior to your departure or within 2
weeks of your return home. . Where the cost of any damage
exceeds the deposit we reserve the right to invoice
the difference
Alpine Holidays reserve the right to
make a retention from the security deposit to cover
additional cleaning costs should the property be left
in an unacceptable condition.
Should we not receive any payment by
the due date we reserve the right to cancel the booking
and reallocate the accommodation.
Cancellation Charges:
Once booking is confirmed the initial
deposit is non refundable:
Cancellation more than 42 days before
date of reservation you pay : Deposit
Cancellation 29-42 days before date of reservation you
pay : 50% of holiday cost
Cancellation 7 -28 days before date of reservation you
pay : 90% of holiday cost
Cancellation 0 - 6 days before date of reservation you
pay : Total holiday cost
In the unfortunate event that you have
to cancel your booking we will make every effort to
reallocate
the accommodation in which case we will refund your
cancellation fee less deposit and our costs for re-letting.
In the event that Alpine Holidays cancels
or makes any material alteration to the holiday, we
will inform the client
as soon as is reasonably practicable and will offer
the client, in the case of alteration, the choice of
accepting the
alteration- which must be of comparable standard- or
in either case the option of a prompt and full refund
of all money
paid (except insurance premiums.)
Insurance
It is a condition of our accepting
your booking that you arrange a suitable insurance policy
which provides
adequate cover for the activities that you and all members
of your group anticipate undertaking.
Travel
Except where otherwise specifically
agreed in writing Alpine Holidays do not undetake the
making of any travel arrangements
whatsoever to the rental accommodation in Combloux .
We are happy to give advice, without obligation. Any
information will be
given in good faith with the information available to
us however details must be confirmed directly between
the Client and
operator concerned.
Liability
Alpine Holidays agree to use all reasonable
endeavours to provide the accommodation and services
as stated in the 'Confirmation of Booking' but will
not be responsible if, having used all reasonable endeavours,
it is unable to do so.
Waiver
Alpine Holidays will accept no responsibility
or liability for loss or damage, bodily injury or illness
to the client, arising in connection with this holiday.
All baggage and personal possessions remain at all times
and in all circumstances at the owner's risk.
Alpine Holidays accepts no liability
for any loss or damage incurred or suffered by any client
in connection with any mode of transport in any way
arising out of the Holiday. Any client travelling in
any vehicle owned or operated by Alpine holidays or
one of its representatives does so entirely at their
own risk.
Alpine Holidays shall not be liable
for any loss or damage arising in connection with the
holiday caused by any matter outside the reasonable
control of Alpine Holidays including (but not limited
to) Acts of God, war, terrorism, civil disturbance,
strikes or other industrial action, acts of Government,
failure of public services (eg. Water and electricity),
failure of mechanical equipment such as boilers, electrical
equipment or ski lifts, although Alpine Holidays will
use due diligence to remedy such failures.
Under No circumstances shall Alpine
Holidays' liability to the client exceed the amount
paid by the client for the rental period.
Skiing or Snowboarding
Any tuition organised by Alpine Holidays
is with qualified ESF instructors and is bound by ESF's
terms and conditions. Any complaint should be made directly
to the Instructor or guide.
If you ski or snowboard with any member
of Alpine Holidays' staff or representative, Alpine
Holidays cannot take any responsibility for injuries
howsoever caused. At all times clients must use their
own judgement based on their own abilities and all skiing/snowboarding
is at their own risk.
